Ndidi is a seasoned executive who brings more than 25 years of strategic leadership and management to board rooms, classrooms, fields, courts and gyms. Her unique background in law, public policy, media and sports has shaped her body of work as an advocate of diversity, inclusion, safety and social justice.

Ndidi is a world class leader having worked with major companies and organizations, including WPP, ABC, ESPN, NCAA, NFL and WWE on variety of complex legal, business, events and diversity and inclusion matters. As the Executive Director of RISE (the Ross Initiative in Sports for Equality), Ndidi built the newly formed diversity and inclusion non-profit from an idea to a fully functioning, multi-million dollar, 501c3 organization, serving thousands of young athletes nationally in less than one year. She created, developed and oversaw the organization’s vision, strategy, a powerhouse board, business operations, programming and more. Under Ndidi’s leadership, RISE received the Stuart Scott Enspire ESPY Award in year 2 of existence.

As a diversity and inclusion consultant, Ndidi advised senior executives at the NFL on diversity and inclusion trends, tools, resources, best practices, external think tanks, events and pipeline and talent engagement strategies. She also helped the NFL develop its inaugural all-sport diversity and inclusion symposium where all major US sports organizations came together to learn and share information and best practices.

Currently Ndidi consults with various businesses and organizations while serving as a commissioner to the New York State Athletic Commission where Governor Cuomo hand-picked her to lead the commission that oversees all professional combat sports in the state of New York. In this role, Ndidi serves as the chief policy maker and regulator for the commission. In her first two years as a commissioner, Ndidi ushered MMA into the state of New York, led the Commission to increase revenue by 204% (from $31.9 million to $97 million), and no fighter suffered a critical injury under Ndidi’s watch.

Ndidi was recently recognized as one of Crain NY’s 2019 Most Notable Women in Sports and received a Title IX Trailblazer Award from the NYC Public Schools Athletic League in 2018. Ndidi served as a board member of Beat the Streets NY and Inspire Nyack, both non-profit organizations geared to help develop youth.

Ndidi earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism, where she led the softball team to the NCAA World Series. She was inducted into Northwestern’s Athletics Hall of Fame in 2009.  She also earned a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Notre Dame School of Law where she served as an assistant softball coach.  Ndidi is admitted to practice law in New York and California.
